Change Image on Slide Master on the fly/javascript?

Is there any way to change an image on the Slide Master on the fly or via javascript?  We are developing a system that will be used by several different groups and we'd like to add/replace a logo to brand it to the particular group the user belongs to.  We are using the HTML5 output with our custom backend system.
