Change layer after all pages visited
Oct 08, 2015
I've created a home slide consisting of triggers that change the state of objects as the learner navigates through the various components (marking them as completed). Once the learner visits all of the components and thus changes their respective states through the created triggers, I'd like the home slide to change its layer to an all complete layer. This layer has an acknowledgment that all components have been completed and has a button to direct the learner to the certificate of completion slide.
I can't seem to figure out how to make that layer appear once all the other triggers have been satisfied... newbie!

Hi Meghan
I created a T/F variable called homeComp and triggered that to change to true on the Home slide if amy, mike, james and tracy are 'true'...then another trigger to show layer 'untitled layer 7' when timeline starts on home slide if 'homeComp' is equal to true. These two triggers are at the top of the trigger panel in that order.
I tried to test it but I think one of your slides should have a Submit button but has Prev/Next
I changed to a submit button so I could test and it works - your updated story file attached
Sorry, the file did not attach - here you go
Thank you. It sounds like it would work, but I'm having trouble opening the attachment to view the changes. The attachments contains script files, but I can't locate the working Storyline document. (probably another newbie mistake)
If the file has a .zip extension try changing it to .story and then open it
Hi Meghan
did you manage to open the story file? If not I can screenshot the triggers I created for you
Hi Meghan! Looks like Wendy has assisted you here. Just let us know if you need anything further.
Sorry, I was out of the office. Yes, thank you! It works perfectly. I'll go through and dissect what steps you took so I can replicate it in the future.
Thank you for your help!
Thanks for popping in with an update Meghan :)
