Hi there, I have a lot of fun playing around change state of... for few applications but unfortunately I can't program the simple change state of a next custom made button when the action is attributed to a swf object. Is this normal or is there something I didn't see or understand?
My swf file is a captivate recording including some interaction from the participant. I just don't want the participant to click on the next button without having done the experimentation or activity (swf file)
Althought when you use a video (flv) and set up the controls on, you can stop it, go back, go front, anything goes and the button appears only when the control bar of the video hits end.
It could have been so good to have the same control with a flash object. My opinion is Flash object should be considered as media object.

This isnt that simple because it is an interactive swf Storyline does not know when the swf has ended
If it was a simple timeline based swf then it would finish, but this one will notI dont think there is a simple way to achieve this

but an FLV is straightforward and has a fixed time so storyline can determine when it finishes
You can talk to storyline via flash but captivate cannot do this
Flash cannot be treated as media because it moves backwards and forwards along the timeline
