Good morning everyone, I have a slide with a caption, one image, one character and one sound file (voice narration). From the States tab, I have added two additional states of my character. Can't I easily control the display of these states based on specific points in the sound file, during playback? Or would I simply add the additional characters to the timeline, to appear at specific points in time? Thanks! Cheers, Jason
Hi Jason! You could add the characters at specific points in the timeline or you could add a couple of off screen shapes and move them in the timeline to where you want the character state change to occur. Then just set a trigger to change the state of the character when the timeline starts for the off-screen shape.
MIKE!!! That's brilliant; thank you I think I will go with the off-screen shape option - it's "cleaner" than adding three different characters to the timeline, huh?!? Thank you once again. Cheers, Jason
You are awesome--that's exactly what I wanted to know! That tip makes it so much easier and cleaner as stated above by Jason. I too was adding extra characters to a slide which made it cumbersome and cluttered-looking. Thanks for your willingness to help me. I'm loving storyline!!!
