I am looking to take an existing Storyline 2 file and change the size from 768x520 up to 1024x768. In doing this, I'd like to keep all visual elements (graphics, text, etc.) at the same size (no scaling). Is this possible?
Hello Denis - thanks for chiming in and adding your voice here. It is helpful to be able to see and understand the user impact for our internal prioritization as Crystal mentioned above.
Thanks for letting us know that, Denis, and I'm so sorry it's caused you headaches. Now that you're subscribed here, you'll be notified as soon as we have news to share.
Hi Ashley. Thanks for the response. I'm using 360. I was hoping to increase the size of the slide canvas without increasing the size of the content on the slides. Luckily, my project was small enough that I was able to adjust all the size increases today. That being said, it was a bit of a hassle and I'd still like to see that functionality in the future.
We just released a fix for Articulate 360 for the issue where font sizes could change when modifying the slide size for a project and choosing not to scale the content to fit. Take a look at the latest update by launching the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button for each application. Details here.
Please let us know if you have any questions, either here or by reaching out to our Support Engineers directly.
Note: This fix is for Storyline 360, and will be included in the next update of Storyline 3 - date TBD.
Dear Ashley, By the way this dialog is only then visible, if I uncheck the unlock ratio (say, cropping only height and do not want to change the width), edit the height AND click and try to edit the width (though I do not actually need it). If I just edit the height and leave width intact, then I never get to see this dialog. I assume it makes sense to show it immediately after I uncheck the unlock radio, otherwise I never get to see it, unless I try to edit a parameter (here, width), which I do not intend to edit.
Hey Irina. I see what you're saying - if you change the value in one of the fields and just hit enter, the remaining options don't appear.
If you use the arrows to increase/decrease the pixel count, the options do appear. Also, if you change the value and then select any other active area in that window (like rechecking the "aspect ratio" box, or clicking on the other dropdowns), the options appear.
I'll bring this up with our team to see about the expected behavior. For now, I'd recommend interacting with the window to force the options to appear when only changing one of the fields. Thanks for bringing it up!
One other note, Irina. The dialogue changes based on whether you're enlarging or shrinking those fields, which is my assumption as to why unchecking the "aspect ratio" box won't show it until a new value is added into the fields.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this discussion. I’m sorry that it has been a few months since I last posted.
I updated our team about Storyline 360. We’re still working to see if we can get this issue prioritized properly.
Susanne, thanks for adding some context to your post. Working with over 60 files and reformatting is not ideal, so I’m sorry for your pain.
I’ll post anything new here, and if you’ve commented, you’ll be subscribed to receive those updates.
Yep - this is needing fixed ?

Hi Leslie,
I just seen 3 hours moving all of the elements on a page, had this functionality worked within storyline it would have taken a few seconds.
Thanks for the reply.

I'm sorry that you're still running into issues with this too, Matt. Can you let me know what version of Storyline you're using?
It's something we've reported to our team, and they're still investigating. Here's more information on how we identify and tackle bugs.
