Is it possible to change the Submit button on a free form drag and drop to 'Done' just for one slide? (I don't want to make a global change that affects all Submit buttons).
Simple solution would be to remove the submit button from the player and create your own button in the slide that said "done". Then just make a trigger that submitted the results. Not sure if that is an option but I hope it helps.

Thanks Joe. I had thought of that solution too. Truth is I haven't done anything with custom buttons in Storyline yet, so up the learning curve I go.
