I would like to change the color of the player with a javascript's function. I mean, I would like the button stay red until the user answer the question of the quiz (for example).
Unfortunately, there isn't a documented way to do this and I haven't found a workaround to push a new color configuration for the player. The player configuration is contained in frame.xml on publish and it initializes once when the player loads. So even if there were a way to write to frame.xml at runtime, there's no way to push the update for a single slide.
This seems to be a common request (visual states for built-in navigation buttons). Please add to existing requests by submitting an enhancement request / suggestion. The more "votes", the higher probability it will become a priority.
Ideally, I'd like to see multiple states for the navigation buttons as an option with a trigger controllable state change just as with any stage object.

Is there a function in the story.js file which may allow this ?
