I'm using Articulate Storyline 2. Essentially, I want the user to push the button and the button effects to occur. So the sound of the button being pressed and the state of the button to change to "down". Then, half a second later, I want the slide to change. Basically, I want to delay the trigger of the slide change long enough for the other triggers to play. This seems like it should be easy to do, but for some reason I can't figure it out!

Thanks Ashley. I find this a bit strange, because my triggers were properly ordered, but the slide transitioned immediately without the *click* sound trigger I put before the slide change trigger. I did order them properly and they didn't fire in that order.
Without seeing the trigger set up or the .story file it's difficult to say what could have occurred. Since you got it working, I'm not sure if you have the .story file to share with us here - but we're happy to take a look.

trigger order is important - have you tried re-ordering them to see if it works.

Set the slide change trigger not on the button, but to jump when the animation (sound) ends.

This totally worked! Thanks. I needed to think of the audio as the triggering mechanism and not the button. Sorry, I'm a total newb.
