Changiing computer name May 27, 2016 By David C Does anybody know if changing your computer name affects your license? I recently changed the name of one of the computers I use storyline on and now it says I have exceeded my licenses, even though I have installed on only 2 computers
David C Author almost 8 years ago05/27/16 at 2:53 am (UTC) Ok I can answer this now. Articulate support says that changing the name should not affect activation, but a change of hardware will. Along with renaming my computer I cloned my SSD onto a larger SSD and used that in place of the smaller one. I guess this caused the problem.
