I have created a simulation of a software my company works with that requires the user to enter a username and password. Since we don't have a test account for me to use, I had to use my own credentials. These were recorded in the simulation. However, I don't want everyone knowing what my username and password is, but want them to practice using their own credentials.
My question is, how do I get the simulation (in try me and practice modes) to allow the user to enter theor own credentials rather than use the ones that were captured in the recording?
Since you'll want them to practice using their own information, you may have to fake it a bit. This thread offers an example of how they could enter in their username and password, and it just checks that they entered something in - doesn't matter what. You'll need to update your screen recording to remove your personal information though, and overlay it with these text entry boxes. You may want to re-record and pause at those sections when you have to insert information.
