I created a course that relies heavily on examining invoices in the form of PDFs. These have been attached through the resource tab. My boss loves the course, but feels the text on the resource tab is a bit out of sight and would rather an icon there instead of text.
Is this possible? If not, can you like resources on a slide so they would open in a new window, much like clicking on a file under the resource tab?
Thanks for your response, Eric. But, can you embed a PDF onto a slide? I know you could do that with a picture, but I can't find a way to make a PDF show up.
Does the pdf open up in a new window? I actually need to allow them to compare pdfs. Also, what did you use to link/attach the pdf? Thanks for your help, Eric.
Yes, I use the 'Jump to File' trigger. If you can, can you send me over your file. I just made a quick sample file, and was able to get a file to open.

Hey Matthew,
What I have been doing in my projects is to create a separate slide for all of my resources and then have a button open up the slide as a Lightbox.

Hey Matthew,
Each of the buttons - The Jones Window, Customer Service Action Plan... - opens up a PDF.
When the Resources button in the bottom right corner is clicked, the slide with the buttons pops up, and then each button links to a different PDF.

The PDF opens up in a new window, and for the button there is a trigger I set up that says 'When button is clicked open file'
That would be perfect. Do you use the 'jump to file' trigger? I don't see open file.
Are these settings correct? When I click on Oval 1 after publishing, it turns into the hyperlink hand but nothing happens when you click on it.

Hm...is your pdf hosted and linked as a url, or do you point to somewhere on your local drive to jump to file?
