I saw you posted in the challenge. To change the state of your rectangle you need a trigger to instruct the variable to change. I created a simple button for you to try. See if this works for you. This is only one way to do it but it gives you a start.
what I'm trying to achieve is that when I click on the "First:" rectangle it takes me to the "First" slide, then I can now change the state of the "Second" rectangle by clicking the button on the slide
