I am experimenting with some gamification in one of our trainings.
We've created icons with hover state that show the content to be covered, but I want to disable to the hover state once the icon has changed to visited.
Is there a way to disable a hover state once a visited state has occurred?
As Leslie mentioned that is how the hover state will function, but I also wanted to point out the information here in regards to the built in states and how they'll behave based on their definitions.

Hi Marisa!
This is how the built in hover state works. You could check out this thread for a possible solution of utilizing custom states vs built in.
Try adding a disabled state that looks like the visited state. Then create a trigger that on click of the icon changes it to disabled.
