Is there a way to change the default behaviors of Slides and Slide Layers? I know you can select multiple slides in the Story view to do things like set the "When revisiting" behavior to "Reset to initial state". What I REALLY need to do is to make it so my slide layers do not automatically hide other layers, pause the base timeline, etc. Some of my courses are very long and the constant clicking and picking is giving me CTS.
For slide layer I guess no. You will need to do it manually on each layer. :(
But see if someone replies you any other way to do this because I generally observed, when I struck and lost hope in such situation someone in the forum tells me really tricky way.
There is not a way to change the defaults for layers, or select several at a time. What you could do is make a layer, change the properties, then use the duplicate layer option and create all the layers you need before adding in the content.
In general that is what I do. However there are many cases (Interactions, Screen Recordings, etc.) where SL creates layers for the user. I was hoping there was a preference file or something I could tweak that would save my wrists.

Hello Randall!

Hope this helps.
