I'm trying to add my own markers to Storyline 2. I added a marker, and changed this to be my desired picture, but when I import the picture that I wan't, it is really really small - is there a way I can make it the size I want?
Or is there another way, that I can import a picture but then make it a marker?
Thanks Campbell, I have done this - however, the picture size is really small for the marker - so what I mean by this is that the marker size doesn't change, it is the same as the default size for any marker. I need it to be bigger - I need the marker size to be way bigger, any ideas how I can change it's size?
Gemma - Yes, I create my own markers because of this limitation. Simply insert any image to represent your marker and assign a trigger to show a layer when clicked. Add a custom caption to your layer and add a trigger to hide that layer on click and bingo!
Thanks! I was able to make it work for the infographic challenge using the hack I found here. It looks like there are quite a few ways to work around this.

Hi Gemma,
The way that works for me is that you right click, choose Format then set fill to picture.

Maybe make the image larger in size in Photoshop with a transparent background.
Yeah - I did that! It still only fits the marker shape - which is the really small circle.
I tried it myself just then, I see your issue. Must be a limitation. :( Sorry I couldn't help more.
No problem - thanks for trying though! :-)
Hello Gemma,
Unfortunately the Marker size cannot be changed, only the label. You may want to submit a feature request for this.

another note... animated GIFs make GREAT markers!
Thanks for sharing Josh :)
The size for markers is so small that the icons are impossible to see. There are so many great icons I'd like to use if they were bigger.
Hi Jennifer! There is a way to have a larger marker effect. Check out this thread.

Glad to hear it Jennifer. Thanks for popping in to share an update.
