Changing the State
Jun 22, 2015
I am currently racking my brain on how to make a checkmark appear after a participant has completed a section of training. Currently they click on the icon and it takes them to the training from the main page. Once they have completed the section it automatically takes them back to the main page. Using SL1 I am trying to figure out how to make the section they just completed either change colors or show the checkmark. This should not effect the other listings on that same page until they have finished them all. HELP!!!

Hi Tikinia,
You can use a True/False variable to change the state of checkmark.

You will have to set up a variable for the section and set it as false, then have some sort of trigger to set it to true. It could be on whatever sends them back to the main section.
You will also need a variable on your checkmark with a condition that looks to see whether your variable is true or false.
Hi Tikinia! Looks like Deanna is assisting you here, just let us know if you need anything further.
I don't know if this helps at all, but see attached a file with a menu and seven sections. The main menu buttons are updated based on completion of each section (which is indicated by a variable).
