I have a course that has a menu which learners can click to take them to a section of the course and changes to a visited state after a learner selects it. I also have included the menu from the player properites on the left nav which learners can click to take them through the course. I am wondering is there a way to set the state of the menu item within the course to visited if the learner user the the player menu to navigate?
You could use a variable on the visited slides that changes when the timeline starts, then back on your menu slide have a trigger that changes the button to visited if the variable has changed.

Hopefully this is what you are trying to do
