Hi i have uploaded a storyline zip file to Moodle as a scorm package. The reporting features are working fine showing me who has completed or not etc.
My question is if I replace the zip file with a newer version will I lose all reporting data linked to the current uploaded version in the scorm package.?
I have a feeling that I wont lose the data if I replace the file within the scorm package but not sure.
Hi there, Brendan. Typically, if you're replacing content with a newer version that has the same LMS identifier, the transition should be easy with no loss of older data. I would double-check with Moodle support and export the reporting you have currently, just to be safe, though.
I wouldn't recommend opening the zip and changing anything in the published output.
