Check marks on a Quiz Result slide
Jul 20, 2021
Hi,
You guys are always very helpful!
I recently created many quizzes in Storyline 360 that are inputted at the end of lessons. I have attached one. I have noticed an inconsistency that I would like to get rid of. After completing the quiz and viewing the results all the questions check the correct answer outside the box, but several do not include checks showing what the student chose. For example, on the attached quiz, the student's choices only appear on the fifth question. My preference is to have them appear on all the questions, but if that is difficult I would like to have them appear on none of the questions.
Thank you.

Hi, Bill.
Thank you for sharing your .story file!
I tested your project, and it seems to be working as expected on my end: the checkboxes show what I selected, and the review also shows the correct answers:
Are you able to record your screen showing what you are experiencing?
Hi Maria,
Thanks for getting back to me. I am very puzzled because it clearly works
on your end, but I opened the file and the boxes were empty on my end.
Unfortunately, I really don't know how to record in Storyline.
Any suggestions?

Hi Maria,
What is very strange is that I went back to the exercise in the former
lesson and the check marks appeared as I wanted them. Sadly, I have edited
the lesson and do not know what I did wrong. Do you think there is a
possibility that they will appear when I input the exercise in Rise?
Thanks for your patience.

Hi Maria,
I have attached another lesson with the exact same issue. The only question where the buttons are filled in is the last question. All the others are not filled in. I am very interested to learn whether or not this one works on your end.
Take care and thanks for your patience.
Hi Maria,
I am sorry to bother you again, but I figured out how to do a screen shot. I have attached two. The first is the first question where the answer I gave was not filled in. The second is the last question where the student is shown both the answers he or she provided and the correct answer. I hope this helps.
Thanks,
Hi, Bill!
Thank you for the additional details, the screenshot, and the second .story file!
This .story file also worked as expected on my end:
So let's do some troubleshooting:
I also want to mention two other things:
Let me know if the repair works!
Thanks Maria...I will try. Appreciate your patience.
