I want a checkmark to show up on a layer if the user clicks a certain hotspot on the main slide.
To make it happen I created a variable, set to zero that gets "1" added to it when the user clicks the hotspot. I also added a trigger to the layer to add one when the user visits the layer, either way the idea was that the value of the variable would be now greater then zero.
So the checkmark has a trigger to change visibility form hidden to normal if the variable is greater then zero.
But no luck, with it. Any idea what the problem is?

Based on your description, I created a quick example. See attached. Is that what you wanted?
Yes, that was a great help, and thank you!! Very cool.
