I use element grouping features a lot. When I group multiple elements into a group and try to toggle their visibility (show on / off), the child elements in that group do not toggle their visibility.
Only the group parent toggles visibility, and that does not make sense.
To be specific, this happens only for toggle on. While setting the elements to visibility off state, the child elements respond. While setting the group visibility to on, the child elements do not respond.
I want to make sure I understand your question correctly. Could you take a look at this quick Peek demo I recorded, and let me know if that's what you had in mind?
I saw your comment on the Peek video to click the visibility button at the very top. Have a look at this new video recording--is this what you were thinking?
Perhaps you could do a screen recording to show me what you see on your end?
I know what he is talkiing about. If you hide all elements in the time line by pressing the "eye" in the header, and you want to show just a single group, you click on the group "eye", but the single elements within the group are not shown.
using the Group visibility to toggle on and off works on group children
and using the Timeline visibility to toggle on and off works on group children
but once you've used the Timeline to toggle off, using the Group doesn't work to toggle on visibility for children
I'll document this behavior for our team to have a look. Thanks for pointing it out, and I'm sorry if it's causing you some extra clicks when working with your slides.

Alyssa,
This is what Arun, Ryan, and I are seeing. Win 8, next-to-latest update of 360.
Thanks Walt - your video helps to clarify:

If I could have expressed it that well, I wouldn't have needed to make a video, Crystal. Thanks for passing this along.
