Choosing an avatar and then making it move

Sep 30, 2015

Hello everyone,

I'm currently working on a game inspired by a french TV game called "Questions pour un champion". The goal is to sensibilize employees on the subject of disabilities at work.

I would like for the learners to choose their own avatar (and maybe add their name too!). I tried to use the Number variable like it was explained in an other post but I couldn't make it work... I ended up copying/pasting the variables/triggers of a download I found, into my own project and now it works (except for the feedbacks layers).

The thing is, I would like the avatar to move during the question ("normal", "thinking" states) and then, "smiling" or "confused" when the feedback appears. Just like it does on the slide names "Q2" for example.

Could someone take a look at my project and help me out ? Variables are NOT my friends... I cannot figure it out (it's a bit like math to me : freaking confusing !).

The module is in french, hope it won't be too much of a hassle...

Have a great day,
Marie

See attached a file where I fixed one question (slide 1.11). Based on the selection (employee=1 or =2) a character state is displayed. I also fixed the name lable with a variable, so that either Emma or Robert (I just picked that name) is displayed. Hope that helps you with the remaining questions.
