Choppy Audio

Feb 20, 2019

Hi,
I am using Articulate Storyline 3 to create e-learnings. Most of the time, the audio is completely fine, but sometimes it is all choppy. The choppiness sometimes occur only in audio editor mode, but other times also in preview/presentation mode. It doesn't seem to be the audio recording itself that is the problem (I'm using the default sound recorder on my computer) since different audio files are choppy at different times. Is there a way to fix this problem?

PS: My colleague has experienced the same problem, in both current and previous projects.

Oh no, Kari. I'm sorry you're having some issues with your audio!

While I don't see we reached a solution from Alina's case at this time, we're happy to keep digging! Could you share more detail on your audio and how it was recorded? Also, is this happening on all your audio files or a specific one?

Let me know, and we'll work on our next steps!

Hi Katie,

It's happening with all of my audio files. I am recording right inside storyline 3, so I'm not understanding why it is doing this. I've had Storyline 3 for over a year now, so I'm not sure why all of the sudden this is happening. To further trouble shoot, I opened up an older Storyline file that I had audio in and didn't have issues with when I recorded it and tried recording new audio. The same thing is happening. The new recorded audio is choppy. I have very little to nothing open on my computer, so it's not that either. I'm confused as to why this is happening. Thanks for looking into this.
