When publishing Articulate Storyline for both desktop and mobile, the new version of Chrome automatically picks up the html5 version, and the quality is very poor.
Is there a fix on the way for the Flash issue? It's causing huge headaches with our clients.
Thanks for the reply - we need to use on ipad as well as desktop, so there's not really a solution. We seem to be encountering more issues with Flash, as people are abandoning this - is there a solution in the pipeline?
It's when Chrome is used - it now automatically picks up the html5 version, which isn't of a sufficient quality for desktop. Flash is also being blocked by a lot of our clients, so the desktop version is becoming an issue overall.

Hi Jo,
So sorry this is giving you headaches, and I can certainly understand the frustration. Google introduced a new security feature in Chrome 56 that blocks Flash content unless you give it permission to play.
What version of Storyline are you using? If you're using Storyline 360 or Storyline 3, you can publish HTML5-first or HTML5-only courses.

Hi Jo,
Mobile devices automatically default to HTML5 content. Can you tell me more about the issues you're encountering with Flash on desktop?

For the HTML5 content you would find Storyline 3/360 will give much better results.
Hi Jo,
What version of Storyline are you using? If you're using Storyline 360 or Storyline 3, have you tried publishing with the Flash/HTML5 setting?
