When using Storyline previously if you wanted to create an invisible item to stop a user from clicking on an item (such a video) so that it will not pause. You could put an invisible shape over it. Now the shape does not register as an item if invisible. I.e the update now sees if you have an invisible item and thinks you do not intend for it to be there so it does not register.
I am having to use a recording of a slide as a video in a re-work project and would like for the user not to be able to pause the video. Has anyone else noticed this issue, or have any workarounds? Let me know.
Try setting the transparency of the object to 95 or 96 %. You still can't see it, and it might register as an object. I haven't tried it, but that's the workaround we have used for many of the previous generations of this problem.
