Click and reveal using motion paths

Sep 27, 2016

Hi all,

This is the 1st time I've posted but I've looked through the forum and gotten some good ideas from the suggestions people have provided.

I'm trying to recreate what is done in the following link but I'm having difficulty figuring out how they changed the image and had the block collapse when the X is clicked.

I have the motion path figured out to have the block drop down to reveal the answer for the question. How do I change the plus sign to an X when the plus is clicked? Would the motion path to bring the block back to it's original position be a copy of the 1st motion path, and reversed direction?

Thanks.

Hi Jane,

Welcome to the ELH community (or at least your first post)!

Do you know who created that example? I'd advise reaching out to them directly first to see if they can share the .story file as looking at that alone - it's a total guess. It could be a layer or state change of the items, motion paths, or a combination of all those elements. It's really nicely done though!
