Click not playing ball
Jun 15, 2017
Here's one I seem to be coming across a lot, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, and I'd really like to figure out why!
I've got an arrow that's supposed to pop up when users click in the wrong place on my software simulation. There's also an animated image, in this case for the search magnifying glass, that the user can click on to show them where the search button is.
My arrow is set to change state to normal if users don't click on the hotspot, or on the image, but still changes state if the user clicks the image.
I've added the screen in as it makes much more sense when you look at it. Any advice on why this seemingly incorrect behaviour is happening, and how I can stop it, would be welcome.
Thanks :-)
Paul

Hi Paul,
Look at my solution in attachment.
I changed the triggers on the elements which have to be hide after the click on the hotspot or the search icon .
I hope that it is for what you wait.

Thanks for popping in to help here, Laëtitia!
Thanks Laetitia, although your solution isn't stopping the arrow from appearing when the user clicks the second image, (magnifying glass). :-(
The clicked outside of trigger doesn't work well in HTML5 would be better to underlay another hotspots and add your trigger to that.
