Click on items in video

Mar 15, 2021

Hi all,

In my firm, we have the following requirement:-

A video that plays out and the user must click their mouse/key/button when they notice a potential problem in the video, for example a potential fire hazard. The User must identify 10 (this could be any number) potential hazards and the activity needs to able to record how many hazards the user gets correct. Then display it as feedback at the end of the activity.

Is this possible and if so, how would you do it?

Thanks

Here's how I would do it.

Notice that the clickable spots have outlines so you can see where they are, but you may want to change that in the final version. Notice that they come on and leave, so it is possible to match hazards that appear and disappear from the video. If you want to stop the video and give positive feedback, create a copy of the Incorrect layer that is named Correct.
