Clock countdown

I am brand new to Storyline and I can't figure out how to create an animated countdown. Basically just want the numbers to count down from 6 to 1. I was able to create the animation for the original number but don't know how to have the subsequent numbers come in and do the same thing. I'm sure this is really basic but don't want to spend hours trying to figure it out..thanks!!

There are all kinds of options to create timers, a few of them being discussed here. To help with your specific issue, can you share you .story file here?

So the slide I am talking about is 1.3. Basically what i would like it to do is the same thing for 5,4,3,2,1. I think i could do that with layers but i'm having problems having the supplemental layers show up!

There are various options to do this, but in its simplest form you could just use several text boxes and 'stack' them along the timeline as in the attached example. Hope that helps.
