Close caption syncing with video

Hi there!
I'v seen some solutions för closed captions but none is solving my problem.
My problem is that I want to show/hide closed captions when user clicks the CC button and I want it to sync with my video.
I'm almost there ... but sooo far away ;)
This is what I've done:
I've put my closed captions on separate layers. I can show/hide them with a CC button by adding a trigger: "show/hide layer if user clicks button". This works fine. BUT if I use this method the closed captions won't sync with the video because the layer starts from zero every time.
Anothermethod is to show the layers by using cuepoints and triggers "show/hide layer when timeline reaches cuepoint #1, #2 ...". This method works fine. BUT I can't show/hide the closed captions when I want.
Is it possible to do this in any other way ... by variables?
For example:
Show layer 1 IF user clicked cc button AND timeline is equal to or more than cue Point #1
Show layer 5 IF user clicked cc button AND timeline is equal to or more than cue Point #5
Otherwise ... don't show anything if user doesn't click CC button but if he/she does it will sync with the cuepoints ...
Gah ... does anyone understand my problem?

Simple solution host the video on youtube as a hidden video so that only people with a direct link can view it, use its closed caption functionality to add all captions to the video. Then in SL use a web object to pull in the video from Youtube.
