Wondering if there was a way to add a warning if a user bails out of a course by using the close window function on the browser. Note, I don't have control over the LMS. In the assessment, all the reset to initial state is in place and working if the user finishes, but if the browser window is closed mid assessment, the bookmarking functions and the user picks up where they left off. Not terrible, but not optimal.
For that you are going to have to edit the html files after publish and add a javascript function for onbeforeunload event, not near my laptop to have a look, should be simple:
function areYouSure() { return 'Are you sure you want to quit?'; }

Instead of using the exit trigger show a layer on the slide master with Yes/no buttons no closes the layer yes exits the course
Interesting thank you. I'll try that. I'm looking for when the window is just close, with the user ignoring buttons and just "x"ing out of the course
