Closed Caption Disappears when paused

Apr 08, 2019

We have hired our first hearing impaired person and I have entered all of the voiceover and videos into the closed caption in Storyline 360.  His chief complaint is he pauses the timeline to take notes and read the CC, but the CC disappears when he pauses.  He's having to go through slides multiple times to capture it all.  Is there a way to make the CC stay on the screen when the timeline is paused?

Hi Susan,

Thanks for letting us know what your learner is experiencing in your course.

We had a previous issue that was corrected in Build 3.22.17236.0:

Fixed: Closed captions disappeared when a slide was paused, and sometimes they disappeared or overlapped when replaying a slide.

Do you know what version of Storyline you're using? We are currently on Build 3.26.18364.0 for Storyline 360. You can read all of the details here.

You can check by going to:
