Closed Captioning Indicator

Jun 21, 2019

We find slides occasionally lose closed captions. Maybe it is a bug, maybe operator error. This isn't about the loss, it's about finding any slide that is missing closed captioning.

Would it be so hard for SL to add a little indicator in Slide Properties or some other panel (Story View) to indicate that a slide does not have closed captions?

In Story View, I could scroll through all slides looking for maybe a green "cc" next to the slide indicating closed captioning.

Everyone here knows what SL currently requires:

  1. Open slide
  2. Select audio icon
  3. Select "AUDIO TOOLS" tab (it isn't generally selected)
  4. Look for "Edit Captions" or "Add Captions"
  5. Go to Step 1 to address slide N of 100

Any plus ones for this feature?
