Closed Captioning on Timeline Preview

When using the timeline preview to view a slide... is there any way to turn off the closed captioning?

Hi Clarelyn,

I'm not clear how using triggers to turn captions on/off applies to previewing a slide using PLAY on the timeline panel. We see the closed captions by default and sure, we could modify every slide with a trigger to turn them off, but that's a lot of work.

So am I to understand that when previewing via the timeline panel - closed captions will always show and there's no option to not display them.

There are two ways to preview a slide that is in development with SL 360

  1. - Use the PREVIEW in SL 360's ribbon
  2. - Use the timeline PLAY button in SL 360's timeline panel

Item 1 previews the slide with skin which has a cc on/off icon. CC's can be turned on/off during the preview play.

Item 2 has no skin.  CCs show by default which may overlay something being worked on. I am looking for but cannot find a way to not show the CC via this preview.
