Closing a Course

We are creating courses that will be loaded on a third party LMS. I want to test the Exit Course functionality. I have created a button with a trigger that says Exit Course. In the forums it says that pressing this button should result in a confirmation message, then close the browser tab. This does not happen when I do a test run (just ftp'ing the output folder to our website and running the course, or when using the View function in Storyline after publishing). What happens is nothing at all. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi Jason,
First, there are a few known reasons why the exit trigger may not behave as expected, so I'd suggest reviewing those first.
If it's not working on your website, you could also try one of the options mentioned in this article for testing purposes to help determine if it's a security issue with your website or something in the file.
