cmi.student_data.mastery_score issue...

Jul 26, 2017

We have a course create in and exported by Articulate Storyline 2 (up-to-date), mastery_score=80, SCORM 1.2 and a post test.

We launch the course(s)

on our SCORM LMS and initialized the course with: cmi.student_data.mastery_score = 90 along with student name etc.

When the post test is completed, the score page is using the variable: %Results.ScorePercent% which reverts back to 80.

And the success/fail outcome is measured against 80.

This tends to make us believe that Articulate Storyline 2 courses do not actually use the SCORM variable: cmi.student_data.mastery_score.

This is very important for us because we have the same course taken by different people with different passing scores.
Right now we have to export the course from Articulate every time we need a different passing score. This makes maintenance a nightmare.

What are we missing here?
