After much disappointment and frustration I have now managed to get my MS-SQL driven LMS to communicate as expected.
I now a story.js piece of code which when pasted into the Story_Content folder allows Articulate Storyline 2 to communicate and save scores, dates, user details onto my MS-SQL.
If this has been a problem for anyone else, please feel free to contact me. With kind regards John
Thanks John for sharing here - you're welcome to share the code here as well or a copy of a .story file. It will just be something that we can't offer support for, so I wanted to offer that reminder that anything like this should always be used with caution. 🙂
A lot of development time, but it seems to be robust and working well. when building a custom LMS we ran into more than one major issue. May I ask what your requirement is? What have you build your LMS with? as our code might not work.
This thread is a bit dated, but hopefully, John is still subscribed here to help you out. If you do not hear back from him soon, you are welcome to reach out directly here.

John, I'd love to see a sample of how you solved this.

I also am having the same problem and would like to see your code.
Than you in advance.
