Collaborating without using a shared drive

Dec 31, 2013

Hello,

I was just interested in seeing how others collaborate on Storyline projects without using a shared drive since that seems to cause some bugs. There are some great posts about designing a course from scratch while collaborating but what if the course is completed and needs to live in a shared environment so different people can make edits?  I'm the primary designer in my company but I work part-time, so if an edit is needed while I'm out of the office others take care of it. I'm trying to come up with a way to store content in a place that won't cause bugs and that others can access and make edits.

Thanks,

Stephanie

Hi Stephanie,

Glad we were able to assist. With Dropbox it's typically installed on your local drive, so you'd still be working on the files from within your local drive. If you're using the web version, you'll need to download the files from the Dropbox site to your local drive, and the same is true for Google Drive.
