Collecting student data with Storyline 2

I'm working on a project that's being distributed on a web server via HTML5. The customer wants to capture student names, email address, and assessment score after course completion. I know I can use text variables to capture the student's name and email address and capture the student's score, but I've hit a wall as to how to get that information to my customer. I understand that email triggers are far from reliable, based on the student's environment and email client. Is there anyway I can send off this information from the server or course side? I'm open to any constructive suggestion...
