color changing on slide in publish mode

Aug 16, 2019

Hi everyone. I am wondering if I can get some advice. I am posting the file, although I don't know how much good it will do. When I preview my work, everything is fine. However, when I publish it, everything turns dark. I have fiddled with the slide master, but no luck. But it doesn't always do it, just sometimes. Any advice as to what may be causing this?

Hey there, April. Thanks for sharing your setup!

Happy to help look into the color difference. I'm using Storyline 360 (Update 30) and published the file to Review 360. Click here to see a short video of my test during Preview and Chrome 76, and here to see the published output.

I also see the color shift in the published output. We want to help you sort this oddity as soon as possible, so I'm going to open a case on your behalf. Look out for an email shortly, and I'll follow along!

Hi, April,

I have great news to share!

We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 49, we’ve included important fixes and new features.

One of the fixes we’ve included is:

Fixed: When the slide background was semi-transparent, the player frame color showed through the slide as expected in the published output. However, transparency didn’t work on the slide stage or during preview.

To take advantage of this update, launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You'll find our step-by-step instructions here.
