I have to say, this has me stumped! It appears that your color theme is set up correctly, but for some reason, question text appears in a very light gray color. So far, I haven't spotted any reason why this could be happening. 🤔

I reviewed the case and in this instance, it was the ParentMaster Slide properties that were causing the new slides to have the same layout/theme. After the Parent Master Slide was adjusted, any new slides created would apply that theme. We have a great resource on this that I think might help: Storyline 360: Using Slide Masters.
