Commercial templates and interactivities for Storyline

Aug 17, 2012

Hello,

I have been evaluating Storyline for some weeks now and I have been unable to find a large number of templates so far. I know that it is a very recent product and that it is improving very fast. But the number of templates currently available seems too poor for me, sorry.

Does anyone know any commercial templates available?

I tried to find someone who knows how to integrate Raptivity interactivities into Storyline, which would enrich the courses a lot! Unluckily, integration is only supported when using flash content, while I need pure HMTL5 content so flash is forbidden in my project.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Hello,

I must say that I am not an e-learning course developer, nor I am pretending to be one of them in the future. I have written some contents in Powerpoint format and now I am trying to find someone who can convert them into a Storyline course. But at the same time, I want to make sure that Storyline is the right tool for improving the course in the future, regarding to HTML5 templates. Therefore, finding the right developer+tool is where I am now.

It might be the case that some of you developers own a large library of templates. In that case, I would be interested in sending you an RFP of my project in order to check if it can be easily converted.

Thank you!

Hi David

I'm doing a lot of Storyline work and I'd be happy to look at a project converting your Powerpoint.  I've had great success making Storyline work on HTML5 so far although I think it depends on what you are viewing it on (iPad for me).  I am also just starting to create a line of templates for Storyline.  Please send through your RFP to jacinta@workbright.co.nz and I'll be happy to see if I can help.

By the way, Storyline does come with some downloadable templates when you buy it and more are showing up in the Community space, but I agree it's a bit sparse for now which is why I see a market for it.  I'm putting simple ones on my blog every now and then, http://workbrightelearning.blogspot.co.nz/  and will sell the more complex ones.

All the best

Jacinta Penn.
