Communicating quiz results without LMS

Mar 21, 2014

Dear colleagues,

We need to offer quizzes to our students. The quizzes are launched via the link on a webpage, and may be available to students via Articulate Mobile Player for iPad.

Our objective is to track quiz results without an LMS installed, since the only information we need to track is the quiz score. As far as I understand we still need to "publish for LMS" when creating the quiz.

So the question is: Where does the Storyline object store/send the tincan statements with the interaction results which we then have to process? Are the results "exported" in any manner? How do we find the point where results are stored from which we can grab them? In other words, what is the "physical" shape of the results?

Thank you very much for your help.

Kind regards,

Kirill

Hi Kirill and welcome to Heroes!

Storyline is designed primarily as an elearning development tool to be used in conjunction with Articulate Online or your own Learning Management System (LMS) and as such tracking results in a text file or database is not supported. If you'd like to track your Storyline content without an LMS, we recommend consulting some similar threads to see how others may have handled the situation.
