We are currently on Storyline 2 and our company is doing a complete purge of Flash. Meaning not only do we need to publish in HTML 5, but no native installs of Flash will be allowed.
Will we still be able to use Storyline to author & publish e-learning?
Flash is still required for authoring of Storyline 3 or Storyline 360 content. You can take a look at the system requirements here (Storyline 360 here) for some additional information about the requirements for authoring.
Both will allow you to publish for HTML5 only - so at the very least users would no longer have to view in a browser that allows Flash.
Matt poses a great question many of us are facing. As Adobe is sun setting Flash, and many companies are restricting its use, are there plans to shift away from Flash as a system requirement to author?

Hi Lori,
Take a look at our plans here for a Flash free future - one of the many reasons we're so excited about our new HTML5 output.
