Complete/Incomplete showing Passed in LMS

Every course that I publish in SCORM 2004 3rd ed is showing as passed in my LMS (essentials LMS by eLogic). Both courses in scorm cloud show a complete and passed status. Am I missing something (during troubleshooting I also published in 1.2 and same results).
- Course 1
- Tool: Articulate 2
- Published in 2004 3rd ed
- results tracking set to complete/incomplete w/slide count setting completion
- This was my log on scorm cloud: https://cloud.scorm.com/sc/guest/ViewDebugLog?logId=08962ad0-e6de-48e4-a635-e5bb89b2be70&courseTitle=NewTest_Articulate+2
- This log has completion: complete and status:unknown

Course 2
- Tool: Articulate 360
- Published in 2004 3rd ed
- results tracking set to complete/incomplete w/slide count setting completion
- Scorm cloud log: https://cloud.scorm.com/sc/guest/ViewDebugLog?logId=682ec8c2-609c-4e2b-8f37-f266d707c09a&courseTitle=TestforStatus
- This log has completion: complete and status:passed

My case # 01087960 may be related to this issue, as well, as our client mentioned in this case also had issues where their courses set to Complete/Incomplete were being recorded as Pass/Fail as well. I haven't heard back regarding this case in a while, so figured I'd put it here, as this is the most up-to-date thread on this issue.
Thanks for joining the discussion, Jessica. I can see that you worked with my colleague Cleo back in June, and he mentioned he would let you know as soon as we get an update on this bug. We know this issue is causing headaches for both course owners and learners, so rest assured we've made this fix a priority.
This thread is tagged to be updated as soon as the fix is released, and you'll be notified immediately since you're now subscribed.
Hey everyone :)
Great news! We just released another update for Articulate 360, and included a few important fixes and new features that you'll see in the release notes here.
The Storyline 360 item you'll be interested in is how:
HTML5 courses tracked by the number of slides viewed with a Completed reporting status would incorrectly send a Passed status to the LMS.
Just launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button for each application. Details here.
Please let us know if you have any questions, either right here or by reaching out to our Support Engineers directly.
Thanks Leslie, looks like quite a few issues addressed in this update according to the release notes. Do they plan on fixing those in Storyline 3 as well (we dont have 360)?
Hi Shawn!
Great question. When needed, we do have the same issues duplicated for Storyline 3 as well.
Yes, we plan on fixing those bugs in our next update.
Hi Leslie,
have you some good news about this issue?
See Leslie's reply above.
Ok, is it possible to know when will be released the next update?
Hi Christian!
Unfortunately, I do not have that information either. We will update here when we can. Stay tuned!
Hi Leslie,
Is this issue related to something we are encountering with SL3 where relaunching a course published in HTML5 or HTML5 / Flash fallback will mark the course complete regardless of the number of slides viewed?
Hi Zubin,
The issue discussed here is specific to SL3's HTML5 output when set as complete/incomplete is sending a Success status to LMS when set to Track using the Number of Slides Viewed. So it's sending the wrong status (it should show cmi.core.lesson_status is set to 'Complete').
If you've r un into something else with the course relaunching and counting all slides as viewed we'd want to take a look at your .story file!
Please include me in updates to this article. We are having the same issue.
Looks like this issue has been resolved in the latest version of Storyline 360.
Yes, but there are some of us waiting on a fix for SL3, so the issue isn't entirely resolved.
Shawn, the files you mentioned above will not open for me, not sure if our IT dept. has restrictions on them or not. Did you have issues when opening?
This is not working in our LMS.
No issues. You cant open them by double clicking on them unless you have a file assoc set up for js files. The best way for you would be to right click and "open with" and select any text editor like "notepad" for example (not MS WORD though).
Hi Kenneth,
Yes, once the next update for Storyline 3 is ready any updates for bugs already pushed out to Storyline 360 will be included. We'll update discussions such as this one when that update is live.

It looks like this discussion simmered out, but want you to know that when I published my Storyline 360 to Articulate Online over the last week (multiple times trying to fix the issue), it is still registering "passed" instead of "completed".
Hi K,
What version of Storyline 360 are you currently on?
Help > About Storyline:
If you are on the latest update and still experiencing this issue, please share your .story file with us to take a look.
If you are not on the latest, you can check out the details here, then update, and re-publish.
Thank you for getting back to me so quickly.
It appears I am using the v3.13.14869.0 of Storyline 360. I have the Submit button to trigger the training to close upon clicked. I program upon publishing to show "completed."
Thanks K.
It looks like your email signature came through when you replied via email. You can remove that if needed by clicking ‘Edit’ beneath your response. Here’s a quick Peek video if you need help.
If you were sharing your .story file, that did not make it through. Be sure to use the 'Add Attachment' option in the forum reply window.
Leslie,
Can I send you the file directly?
Also, I didn't realize my response came back to here. Thanks for helping me remove my signature.
No worries K, we like to be sure that the users are aware.
