Completion button not sending the completion to LearnUpon LMS

I have created a course in Storyline 360, with a 'Completion' button on the last slide and created two triggers for the button:
- Complete course (Status: Completed/Passed)
- Exit course

I uploaded it to LearnUpon LMS and it seems to work because the course closes and the LMS displays animated circles that indicate data transfer from the course to it.

The problem:
The LMS does not change the status of the course from 'In Progress' to 'Completed'.

I've attached part of the course with the Completion button on the last slide.

Any ideas on how to fix the issue?

Hi there, Amos.  I did a test publish and uploaded your course to SCORM Cloud.  Here's what I changed:

  • First, just for clean-up, I removed the triggers to change your Complete button to Hover and Selected states.  A cool fact about Built-in states is that they include the logic to change on their own without an additional trigger!
  • When I published, I changed the tracking option to track by the completion trigger:

    I'm not sure if you had this option selected.  When I went to publish, it looked like it was still on the default of tracking by number of slides viewed.  If you have some slides that users might not ever see in your project, that could be impacting their completion status with that tracking method.

Let me know how this example course works, and if you can apply those changes to your final version!
