Does anyone know if there is a way to compress images within your slides? Sometimes when looking at my Story, I notice a slide takes a moment to load usually because of an image on the slide. (i.e. when using an iPad on 3G).
I know you can do this on Powerpoint, and so was wondering if there was a similar setting.
Hey Chris, you can adjust your image compression when you publish in SL2 and I imagine SL3. Click the Publish option and then under "Properties" toward the bottom click on "Custom optimization" next to Quality. The following image shows you the compression options you are presented with:

Matthew Bibby posted a link to a site that compresses PNG and JPG images.
I tested it, and my JPG went from 4.25mb to 500k.

You can also use free tools like irfanview to batch compress all the images before you load them.
