Computer Hard Drive is getting erased by IT: what all do I need to remove prior to save current storyline project?

For the most part, all you need is your .story files. If you created custom templates you can find those in your Documents>My Articulate Projects>Storyline Templates

If you are using a perpetual version of SL ie. SL3, you will need to go to Help tab > Deactivate. 

Thank you! Yes, I was advised of the same by the Articulate team. Copied the files we needed and then we are going to attempt to open/run on a colleague's computer that already has Articulate 360 installed.

Thank you! Yes It is a project I was chipping away at for over a year in between live instructor led trainings . . . horrible to lose

Aren't there also some XML files for things like custom colors, color schemes, and workspace options that are usually stored (in this case for SL360) in C:\Users\[Computer User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Storyline\360\ that you might want to save and copy over after installing SL on the new PC?

Or is that not recommended now?  Or only for us foolhardy sorts?  :) ;)
