Condition Question
Jan 07, 2014
Hi Heroes,
I have an animation slide that has five text boxes to reveal, via timeline, one after another. I want to make the user stay on that slide until the last text box appears, then be able to "click Next." I do not want next slide after timeline ends. I want to make the user have to click the Next button to progress in case they want to linger on the slide to re-read all the boxes.
How do I do that?
Thanks,
Rick

You could use an offstage object with an initial state of hidden. At the end of the fifth textbox's timeline, the state of this offstage object is set to Normal. Then attach a condition to the Next button's trigger so that it jumps to the next slide only when the state of the offstage object is Normal. Here is a quick example.
Wonderful! Ingenious!
There are just so many ways to do things, I sometimes find it hard to think of them.
Thank you so much for the help Hero!
Glad that'll work for you Rick, and thanks Michael for helping out! A super hero in the making, possibly?
