I'm building a quiz in Storyline 2 at the moment, which needs to work as follows:
On the first attempt, user gets simple 'Correct' or 'Incorrect' feedback for each question
On the results slide, user gets the chance the retry the quiz
On the second attempt, incorrect answers for each question trigger different feedback - giving explanations of the answers
I'm struggling with trying to get different feedback with Storyline's in-built template when retrying the quiz. Has anyone else had success with this kind of thing?
Solved this by creating a variable that counted the amount of attempts on a quiz (increments when Retry Quiz button is clicked).
Then, within each Incorrect feedback pop-up I have two pieces of text that default to the Hidden state. If the attempts counter is 0 I show one piece of text, if it's greater than 0 I show the other.
Feel a bit schizophrenic answering to my own thread but thought the answer may be useful for anyone else that has the same issue!
